Name change in BRP

Hi,

My wife has Indian passport with ILR residency status. She is changing her name to go back to her maiden name (no change is our relationship status). We are getting the Indian passport amended. I have couple of questions to get UK BRP updated:

1) What are the supporting documents needed? Official site just gives an online application link only.
2) What is the processing time for this? Is there are a premium service for this?
3) Do we need to submit Indian passport and BRP for verification or can I use Post office verification service?

Any advice to finish this process in the fastest way is welcome so that we can start travelling ASAP.

Apologies as this is not the advise but I have a query which you might be able to help my as you are looking to update the name in BRP and I assume you must already have updated the Indian passport. So please can I just understand the process please? I am looking to add surname on my wife's Indian passport and are looking for supporting documents requirement
do we need deed poll or affidavit first? or just marriage certificate is enough ? I would you grateful if you can help on this

Hi. It take about 8weeks after your appointment for fingerprint. You need to show Indian passport and marriage certificate or deed pool. Few address proof.
That all basically
