I would say the biometrics are for the substantive interview. Were your biometrics taken during the first interview?B89ib wrote: ↑Fri Jul 23, 2021 2:30 pmHi everyone,
I hope you are well.
We applied for asylum January 2021, we did screening interview and we filled out the questionnaire and also sent all the documents with details of our case in another post. We have not done the substantive interview yet. Two days ago, we received a letter to do Biometrics for BRP. Is this a good sign? What does this mean pls? Is there anyone with a similar case? Thanks,
We applied in January 2021. After ten days, we did the screening interview, and yes, they took our biometrics during the screening interview. I was a student here, and we applied for asylum due to a change of circumstances before the end of my student visa. We did not receive any letter for the substantive interview. Are there cases to grant BRP without the substantive interview?
Thanks,
A very huge congratulations to you and your family. We Are still waiting for our decision after our substantive interview in June. Early August we were sent a child dependant form to fill, asking if any of our children have their own individual protection needs. Did you also get that form to before your decision?Zeek wrote: ↑Tue Aug 24, 2021 10:38 pmGood people have now been granted 2.5yrs limited leave due to family/private life. I filled those too when I first claimed. But this particular form was dated 3rd August and was being sent out due to a new ruling after a court case titled G v G. It's entirely different from the PIQ form. This centres around dependants under the age of 18. We were asked to fill and submit within 20 working days.

I have received a response and my case has been rejected. I have been given right of appeal but I am so deflated. How long after appealing do I get a response? Can someone explain?rina wrote: ↑Sun Aug 29, 2021 2:57 pmAny news on your end @Madhavi16? nothing my end just the same annoying long waitmadhavi16 wrote: ↑Tue Jul 06, 2021 7:25 pmhope you will get a quick response. let me know the outcome Rina.rina wrote: ↑Tue Jul 06, 2021 6:49 pmI have made a complaint.. I wish you a quicker positive response. Do you know or anyone know how long it is after you lodge the appeal to the hearing date, the response from the judge and HO responding if postive? I really dont think I can wait the same as it has been with the asylummadhavi16 wrote: ↑Wed Sep 01, 2021 12:53 pmHi Rina, So sorry to hear. But the positive side is you have got an Appel Right.
