FLR M Application Questions

Post by morth123 » Tue Sep 28, 2021 9:09 am

Dear members,

I have recently got my ILR via the Long Residence route and was previously on ICT visa. My wife and kids are on 'PBS Dependant Leave to Remain' visa (ICT dependant). I have started the FLR(M) application for my wife and kids. I have queries on a couple questions in the FLR(M) application as below. Please help.

1. What type of visa, leave to enter or remain or other permission do you have to be in the UK? - The options are: Visit, Work, Study, Family, EEA Residence, Settlement, Other.

I have selected 'Other' and mentioned the permission as 'PBS Dependant Leave To Remain'. Is this correct?

2. On what basis did you apply for your current visa, leave to enter or remain or other permission? - The options are: ‘As the partner of a British citizen, settled person or a person with refugee leave or humanitarian protection in the UK’ or ‘None of the above, or I'm not sure’.

I have chosen 'None of the above, or I'm not sure' and mentioned the permission as 'PBS Dependant Leave To Remain'. Is this correct?

Thanks in advance

Regards
Mani

Dear members,

I've read some of the previous posts and I am a little confused as I am seeing mixed responses for below question. In the question, it says "current visa", so I am wondering this should be other as my wife and children's current visa is PBS dependant. Should I select the last option - None of the above or I'm not sure? Please help.

2. On what basis did you apply for your current visa, leave to enter or remain or other permission?

- As the partner of a British citizen, settled person or a person with refugee leave or humanitarian protection in the UK
- As the child of a British citizen, settled person or a person with refugee leave or humanitarian protection in the UK
- As the parent of a British citizen or settled child who is under 18, or who was under 18 when you were initially granted leave in this category and was not living an independent life
- As an adult coming to the UK to be cared for by a relative who is a British citizen, settled person or a person with refugee leave or humanitarian protection in the UK
- Private life in the UK
- Leave outside the Immigration Rules, including on the basis of compelling or compassionate circumstances or an Article 8 claim
- Medical grounds or ill health
- Discretionary leave
- None of the above, or I'm not sure

Thanks
Mani

1. You select Work.

Unclear what the next options are. Note that we do not have sight of the online forms.

Thanks alot CR001. If I select "work" for the first question there are no further options/follow-up questions.

Just to clarify whether the "PBS Dependant Leave to Remain" visa falls under work category?

Thanks
Mani

Thanks CR001 for checking. Just one more question which I want to check I have selected the right option.

Is your current entry clearance or leave to remain as the partner of one of the following?
a British citizen
a person settled in the UK
a person with refugee leave or a person with humanitarian protection in the UK
a person with pre-settled status under the EUSS in the UK
a person who has leave as a Turkish ECAA worker or business person in the UK
Options - Yes or No

I have selected No to this. Hope this is correct as my wife and children are on PBS Dependant visa.
