Will bank statements dated 27 Sep be OK?

Post by need_a_tier1 » Wed Oct 22, 2008 5:54 am

Hello Guys,

I am sending my Tier-1 application today. I am applying from within the UK (switching WP to Tier-1).

The bank statements I have for proving maintenece funds are dated upto 27 Sep. Will this be OK? The statements I have are original statements and not online print-outs.

I am in two minds now. I can go to my local branch and get a printed up-to-date version issued, but it will not be same as the ones I get in post. It will simply be a print-out of my account transactions, I can provide a supporting letter from bank, on the headed paper, confirming the authenticity of the statements provided, but is all this necessary.

Kindly advice.

Thanks in advance.

No. The latest date recorded by your statements must be no more than 7 days before you file your application.

Thanks!!

I am more confused now.

I am applying from within the UK, I think the 7 day rule is for candidates applying from outside the UK.

In that case why are you confused. Just apply with watever you have before one month gets over.

Hi need_a_tier1

If you are applying from within the UK, your latest bank statement must not be more than a month old.
