Artur111 wrote: ↑Sun Nov 28, 2021 9:10 pmHi respected gurus and forum members,
I have recently gone through naturalisation process and have become British citizen. So for my wife SET (M) application I’m using British passport.
The question is, do I need to scan every single page of my British passport (scanned PDF becomes larger than required 6Mb limit)?
All pages are blank. Can I simply scan first 5-6 pages and the last page and simply explain it in cover letter why the entire passport has not been scanned?Correct you canThank you
Answer will be YesArtur111 wrote: ↑Sat Dec 04, 2021 10:21 pmThank you Amazonian for your answer.
I have come across the following question on my wife’s SET(M) application:
- Has your partner previously been sponsored as a partner of a settled person?
A bit of my immigration history, I was EEA family member since 2010 (was married to European citizen). Following divorce in 2013 (it didn’t work out for us) and retaining my rights in 2014, I received Permanent Residence card in 2015.
So does it mean that I was sponsored by European citizen since 2010? Even though at the time of our marriage she was in the UK about 3 years. Yes
I am a bit puzzled whether I should answer Yes or No to above application question.
Thank you
The answer is no. Your partner has not been sponsored for a visa as a partner of a settle person.Artur111 wrote: ↑Sat Dec 04, 2021 10:21 pmThank you Amazonian for your answer.

Should be from at least 3 different sources such as bank statement, council tax bill, utility bills (water,Gas and electricity), NHS/GP, DVLA.
I have read somewhere that the term "Housing Cost" is related to Rent; Council Tax, Mortgage Payments. Please explore on that. I am not an expert on these matters anyways.Artur111 wrote: ↑Sun Dec 05, 2021 8:08 pmThank you Char!
Really appreciate your input.
Nearly finished with application and looking through supporting documents requirements. Apart from requirement for the last 2.5 years correspondence addressed to me and my wife, there are separate two mandatory documents to be provided:
1) evidence of monthly housing costs for the accommodation you live
2) evidence of council tax costs for the accommodation you live
I can attach separately:
- annual water bill and probably 3 or 4 different gas/electric bills covering last 24 months for the first one (housing costs)
- annual council tax bills for last two years for the second one (council tax costs)
Will it be sufficient or should we attach more (bills) evidence of housing costs?
Do we need to attached our bank statements to prove we pay those housing/council tax costs?
Thank you

Yes, I have meant “Housing Costs” and I believe those costs are related to utilities and mortgage (as council tax costs are requested separately).
I have no problem providing that but more thinking about whether to provide those costs for the last two years or just last 12 months would suffice?
Any experienced that, could you share please?
