Paternity leave and parents leave effect on citizenship application ?

Hi all would any one have an idea as to a person on stamp 4 to get parents leave benefit and paternity benefit will it effect citizen application in future negatively ?

Most paternal/maternal benefits are not mean-tested. Some parental benefits are though.

The only 2 things that would impact your citizenship application are means-tested benefits and crime history. You need to find the accurate wording of your benefits used, and then you can simply Google if your benefit is means-tested.

Thanks littler. It's just the standard 2 week paternity and then 5 weeks with in the two year period of child's birth after searching online and our own presumption was that every working parent in Ireland gets it even if you are not an Irish national and like in my husband's case he has stamp 4.Dont think it's means tested you need a form singed from work stating when the leave commences and may be I am wrong but could depend on prsi contributions.
We have not applied for it yet as if it will effect his future application we might not bother.....
