Yes- but when you send them an email they ask whether you are the applicant or the sponsor in the UK enquiringHopefull2021 wrote: ↑Thu Oct 14, 2021 7:17 pmThe escalation must me raised on applicant’s name right?
I called around 4pm and it took me around 10 minutes to connect to them, give them a call if it gets to 15 working days and they haven’t respondedRnaz123 wrote: ↑Thu Oct 14, 2021 4:56 pmHmm oh no.. so they made a mistake on their part.
Could it be that they've done the same for me, escalated it in my name instead?
What time did you call and how long did you wait for someone to receive it? I've tried calling them numerous times but no one seems to answer the call.
That’s good to hear! I’m on working day 80 so InshaAllah I hear something soon tooRnaz123 wrote: ↑Fri Oct 15, 2021 5:18 pmI received an email today from UKVI after I sent them a query yesterday asking for an update on my application- 78 working days yesterday. The call wouldn't connect for me it kept cutting off so I emailed them instead.
I received a reply today from them that a decision has been made and I need to wait to be contacted by the VAC.
InshaAllah I hope its positive news and for everyone else on here too.
How many working days are you all on? Hopefully you will be receiving a decision email very soon as you submitted your application around about when I did mine- end of June ?
Thats a great news InshaAllah it will be a positive response, did they tell when they made the decision?Rnaz123 wrote: ↑Fri Oct 15, 2021 5:18 pmI received an email today from UKVI after I sent them a query yesterday asking for an update on my application- 78 working days yesterday. No they just replied saying they can confirm that a decision has been made and the visa application centre will be in contact. I'm still waiting I haven't been contacted. Also I didn't receive the 'official' email to say that a decision has been made, it was only when I enquired about the status of the application as it was 78 working days that they replied saying a decision is made.Hopefull2021 wrote: ↑Fri Oct 15, 2021 7:19 pmThats a great news InshaAllah it will be a positive response, did they tell when they made the decision?Rnaz123 wrote: ↑Fri Oct 15, 2021 5:18 pmI received an email today from UKVI after I sent them a query yesterday asking for an update on my application- 78 working days yesterday. Yes my husband submitted his passport when he provided the biometrics as we just thought it would save the hassle of giving it later. Its optional whether you choose to submit it or keep it, don't worry they will contact your wife to submit the passport and then she will have to go again to collect it.Hopefull2021 wrote: ↑Sat Oct 16, 2021 2:12 pmHas anyone of you submitted their passports when providing biometrics??
My wife did not submit passport, they were not keeping it with them at that time.
Such a stressful time! Especially as it’s been so much over the 12 weeks it should have taken, I’m hoping I hear about a decision soonRnaz123 wrote: ↑Sat Oct 16, 2021 2:19 pmYes you will be hearing soon don't stress InshaAllah it will be positiveHp-pk-123 wrote: ↑Fri Oct 15, 2021 7:04 pmThat’s good to hear! We can relate, we have completed 4 months but still no response, it seems your spouse visa has been approved, why dont you try calling ukvi for status of your visa application?London507986 wrote: ↑Sat Oct 16, 2021 8:36 pmWe applied for spouse visa on 4th July. Biometric done of 16 July. Since then i have received few emails but no decision yet.
1st email says, application has been assessed on 16 September and now we should submit passports within 21 days
2nd email says Biometric cards are being delayed on 28th September
Latest one received from escalation team on 14th October says, it has been handed over to relevant team
SO CONFUSING TO BE HONEST. HIGHEST FEE BEING CHARGED BY UKVI AS COMPARE TO WHOLE OF THE EUROPE BUT POORLY MANAGED I MUST SAY
That's very confusing but I can relate as I've been told by the UKVI enquiries team that a decision has been made and then shortly after I received an email from Sheffield stating that they've received the visa application and its under consideration. Both emails are complete opposite! I am so worried now I don't know what to do. It feels like they are just sending random emails that don't make senseLondon507986 wrote: ↑Sat Oct 16, 2021 8:36 pmWe applied for spouse visa on 4th July. Biometric done of 16 July. I’d assume a decision has been made if the enquiries team has told you that and maybe the other email was just an automated one? InshaAllah it will be positive and you’re contacted by the VAC soon! It’s so exhausting having to chase this all up and it’s so unorganisedRnaz123 wrote: ↑Sat Oct 16, 2021 9:48 pmThat's very confusing but I can relate as I've been told by the UKVI enquiries team that a decision has been made and then shortly after I received an email from Sheffield stating that they've received the visa application and its under consideration. It depends from case to case. I submitted spouse visa along with dependant application in the first week of June 21. Biometrics were given in the following week. Now received the email from decision centre that visas have been issued and we have been asked to submit passport. No contact to employer or sponsor.
Regards
I hope so! InshaAllah I pray for a positive outcome for all of us. I agree... if only they could maintain a line of communication and keep us updated on the progress of our case at every aspect it would honestly be less stressful then.Hp-pk-123 wrote: ↑Sat Oct 16, 2021 10:53 pmI’d assume a decision has been made if the enquiries team has told you that and maybe the other email was just an automated one? Hi, may I know which email address you used to make the enquiry? I could not find any email address on the immigration website aside from helpline number. I have submitted my spouse visa application on Jan 2021 and after calling them twice and been escalated both time, still no response from Home Office. Appreciate your kind response..Rnaz123 wrote: ↑Fri Oct 15, 2021 5:18 pmI received an email today from UKVI after I sent them a query yesterday asking for an update on my application- 78 working days yesterday.
