In need of your help people - Wifed refused spouse visa?????

Post by Mutambandaisa » Wed Oct 22, 2008 1:57 am

I would like to thank you all for helping all of us.
Could some please advise me, I am from Zimbabwe, currently with indefinate leave to remain. I met my wife here in 2002 and we have been living together since then. We have 2 kids. When i applied for my work permit extension in 2007, my wife was turned down but my eldest kids got the same status as me. I have since got my indefinate Leave to remain , same as my eldest child and the other one i applied him a british passport and he got it.
Since the first application, thus March 2007, the Home Office have withheld her documents and they asked her to leave the country. I lodged an appeal through a solicitor soon after that and i havent heard any response from the Home Office. They can confirm receipts of the appeal documentation but no response.
What can i do on this matter. I am thinking of going back home and make an application but i am afraid that this could spell the end of our family life together in the uk.
If there is anyone who can help me on this matter i would appreciate much.
