Can fixed deposits in savings accounts considered as funds for maintenance in visa ?

Certificates of deposit Certificates of deposit can be relied on to evidence funds if the document is issued by a bank which confirms that an individual has deposited or invested a sum of money, held it for the required 28 day period, and that the applicant can acces funds at any time .
