Going to University if husband is on a spouse visa?

My Husband is on a spouse Visa here in the UK. I wanted to apply to University next year and had some questions around receiving Tuiton fees, Maintenance Loan and a Child grants.

1) As I would have to give up my current job to attend University, would this affect his current immigration status and his next Spousal Visa Application as I would not be earning? Or can the application be done on his earnings?


2) Am I eligible to apply for a maintenance loan and tuition fees with Student Finance without this affecting my ability to sponsor? (Does this count as me claiming public funds)


3) Can I apply for a child care grant to support with childcare while I attend university, which I would be eligible for? (Does this count as me claiming public funds)

What is your UK immigration status? Are you a British citizen, a person ILR, an EEA citizen, etc?

I'm a British Citizen and my husband is American here on a spouse visa. I'm the one that wants to go to university put neither of us can claim public funds, so was uncertain if this counted?
