EU Citizen, living in Ireland for 21 years.
Application: October 2019
Second letter: February 2020
Garda Vetting: 30 August 2021
Garda Vetting Completed: 16 Sept 2021
Absolutely no news about my citizenship. My friend who is a non EU national and who has applied a year after me already got her citizenship and did not have to do garda vetting. I don‘t understand what is holding this up. It is very frustrating.

If you have Irish travel documents, you need to send them. But I don’t have Irish travel documents. That’s way I not send anything. Only declaration.
Basically refugee status people have Irish travel documents. But I don’t have. I am stamp 4 last 11 years

My approval letter say. I have to uploaded there online portal. Copy of IRP , passport size pic & my country passport front page.
They not tell to send me original IRP. so I keep original.
And declaration sign from
Lawyer. Return to them.

Hi,
I see your recent post that your e-vetting is complete. Did you provide all the addresses since the time you were born? I see a similar request for me on their email for e-vetting.

Some good news, I completed my e vetting in October (it was requested in September)

And today I got the letter to pay online the 950€! I can't begin to explain the relief I felt seeing the letter today, and next step after this is to receive the certificate of naturalisation- after I pay and they process everything (could take 6 weeks)

I originally applied in November 2019.
