Visit Visa UK Embassy Email - Your UK visa application has been issued

Greetings. I applied for visit visa to UK on 11th of OCT 2021 and yesterday I got email that The visa application have been issued. When I applied for visa I kept my passport and paid extra fee for that. Now today is 27th November and I need to travel on 14th of Dec. If anyone have idea when they will ask my passport and when I will get my passport returned after getting processed? Thank you

Hi, I received this email a few days ago. I went to collect my passport and it is empty. Could it be a mistake?
If it was a refusal i was going to get a letter didn't I?
I know for a fact that for every application, whether it is a refusal or approval we still get a letter.
In my case the passport came on its own. No decision letter even though i received this positive email from Abu dhabi. PLease advise

Mail recieved from vfs 14 oct 2021 that your has been sent british consulate abu dhabi

Mail recieved from ukvi on 22 nov 2021 your uk visa application has been issued

Call recieved on 29 nov 2021 from vfs come at office before 4 pm and collect your passports

I went to vfs and collect my passports
Got 6 month visa me and my wife

So its 100% if you have recievd an email from ukvi. Your visa application has been issued. That you got the visa

Issued. Means. Visa approved

Congratulations. So it’s mean the processing time is good 35 to 45 days. Please also share the outcome of your application and date of passport collection.

This forum is dead , no body is replying or updating about their experiences. There are severe delays in all the applications which are submitted in and after November. Pakistan, India and UAE applicants all are facing delays in their applications. I hope this can be resolved soon.

There is an update regarding visiting visa. Applied for mother in law from Karachi Pakistan biometrics was on 4th November 2021. Received Issued email from Abu Dhabi UKVI on 27th December 2021.

Got email and message from VFS Global to collect passport 10th January 2022. Passport collection same day.

Visa Granted for 6 months. Starting date from 27th December 2021.

So Issued email means visa approval.

Congratulations. So it means there is no update for December applicants. People who applied in end of October and beginning of November are now getting replies. From this one we can estimate that these days its taking minimum 45 days to 60 days.

Hi , applied for my mum.
She submitted her biometric on the 15th of September. We escalated on November, they replied saying that they have received so many applications and they don't know when they will complete, they apologise and said we should just wait tight.
I don't know what to do really.

just wondering what is the standard visitor visa processing time in South Asia, from here I read it like 45-60 days? has it always been like that or only recently there is a delay (UKVI website says 15 days)?

I have reviewed the refusal notice, supporting documents and the letter before claim submitted
by you. The decision to refuse your application has been withdrawn on this occasion, in favour of a reconsideration. The office will be in contact with you in due course.

In your Pre Action Protocol letter you state that if this case is not reviewed, you will be commencing proceedings to Judicial Review. I hope this further review of this case and the response given negates the need for you to pursue the matter to Judicial Review.

Finally received the issued email today biometrics done on 16th Dec 21 vfs karachi and issued email received today at 9:20am, 25-1-2022. Will share the complete timeline in the timeline thread once passport is collected.
