Parent Visa from abroad

Hi All,

My son who was born in Nigeria has recently been issued a British passport, he is still in Nigeria with his mother whom we are currently in relationship (3 years). Am desperate to have both her and my son over to stay with me. Can you please advise if she is eligible for parent or visit visa?

Visit visa is straightforqard and easy most times however in a situation where she is mother to a BC it could be expedient to look at longer term things as your intent is for them to stay with you. What is the state of relationship? If married, spouse visa if the requirements are met may be a route you want to look at.

Thanks for the advise. Wm currently going through 4 years divorce from my ex however me and the mother of my baby have been together for 3 years.
