Can I use UK PG Diploma earned while on WP visa for Tier1???

Hi All,

I believe this hasn't been discussed elsewhere on this forum, so a new thread.

I was in UK on work-permit for 1 year 2 months and finished a PG Diploma in IT from a college listed on dcsf website.

Can I use it for my qualification while applying for Tier 1 General?? Actually, there are 2 sub-questions related to this:

1) Is a UK Diploma/Degree earned while on Work Permit visa accepted by HO? I know they don't accept it for Post-Study Work Visa.

2) Do I need a PG Degree from UK Univ (Univ. of East London in my case) or even a PG Diploma certificate issued by my college would suffice??

Please help me out with this.
