ILR application Skilled worker dependants

Hi,
I am working as a skilled worker ( previous tier 2 general) since August 2017.

My wife initially came on a tier 5 visa but converted to Tier 2 dependant since October 2019.
She now wants to apply for a skilled worker visa sponsored by her employer.

My Question is that " Will changing from Tier 2 dependant to Skilled worker visa reset the clock for the purpose of ILR" or can the Tier 2 dependant period can still be counted in those 5 years?

Yes, the clock will reset to zero. You cannot combine tier 2 dependent visa time with main visa holder of skilled worker visa. The rules don't allow this. She would need 5 years as either a PBS dependent visa holder OR 5 years as main skilled worker visa

Have the working restrictions changed for skilled worker dependants or are they same as Tier 2 dependants.
I have heard that skilled worker dependants can take up medical/dental training on that visa.
Is that right

The current work restriction for SW Dep is professional sportsperson (including as a sports coach).
