Need help urgent

I am from pakitan but currently studying in universiy of nottingham malaysia campus. I have applied in university of queensland and got my credits transfered there. My semester will start in Feb 2009. I want to ask that for student visa instead of a bank statement can my dad show his salary slip ? I will apply for the student visa from malaysia so could u guyz help me with this???

Students > Student Visa Assessment Levels.

STUDENT VISAS > appropriate assessment level (AL2, AL3, AL4) > Evidence of funds.

Thanks for concerning. I have already read this thing, but its not clear to me could you please explain to me that can my dad show his company salary slip with provident funds included instead of a bank statement ?????
