Just wanted some info and best advice as i' kinda lost what to do now.
I moved to the UAE for work and have been here around 3/4 years as i came here for work so had no time set coming back that year, with that being said for nearly 2 years i couldn't travel to visit family due to the pandemic nobody could.
I was denied entry well i wasn't allowed on my flight, when trying to visit as my family and my brother was getting married November 2021 so i was trying to make it back, they told me to apply for a family entry permit but turns out the form they told me to do and pay for was wrong.
So now i'm trying to get back but i can't fly in but i have ILR but understand it's lapsed due to being out for so long but i have ties in England, granted i take some but not all responsibility but we have travel restrictions to England for very long.
I went to school/ was educated in England, i have degree, i worked i paid my taxes, rented and had my own business prior moving here for work.
If anyone has any advice on what to do as i have a few options but want to see if anyone has has he same issue or know anyone who has.
