Hi,

if someone receives PIP and also have a good salary over the threshod (over £20K for over six months), should he sponsor his wife through the adequate maintenance or he can just using his income and ignore the PIP?

The immigration rules seem allowing to use PIP as an optional way, however the application form seems to request required documents for PIP even if the income is higher than required.
