Urgent: Received Visa on 26/09 - need advice on securing job

To senior members,

I have received the HSMP Tier 1 (General) Visa stamped for 3 years from 26/09/2008. My wife and kid got the same.

Now, I need your advise on the following:
1. is it possible to get a job while staying in India?
If yes, then please advise.

2. under current global economic condition I am not feeling secure in leaving my current job in India and to move in UK without a job secured, where I am not sure how long it will take to find a good job for me and for my wife.

Please advise.

I have been in the UK for over 4years now. I have come to india to apply for my tier1. The market for jobs is not as bad either.

I would suggest you register yourself on www.monster.co.uk and in your cover letter mention you have A tier1 for 3years and give them the date as to when you can start if given the job.

Also Register with REED.CO.UK.

But nothing like being in the UK and applying for a job.

Can you let me know what you do and what kind of a job you are looking for I may be able to give you the contacts for some recruitment agents in the UK
