Visit Visa and Skilled Worker Visa Clarity

Hello all,

I hope we all keeping safe. Please I need some clarification on some issues

I am currently on a student visa with my spouse as my dependant and am about to bring one of my parents for visit to the UK, we will both be attaching our current BRP to support the application. However, my partner just got COS from the employer which means we will be applying for a Skilled visa shortly.

My question is can we go ahead and use our current BRP as a supporting document for the visit visa and at the same time put in an application for our skilled visa?

Has anyone been in this kind of situation, I appreciate all the advice
