Clarification regarding English test and Life in the UK test

Post by confusedmig » Sat Feb 05, 2022 4:43 pm

I'm a British citizen. My wife is planning to apply for ILR in a few months time:
Qts 1) My wife had passed her B1 Grade 5 English test in Aug 2019 which we used during the last visa extension application which was successful in 2019. Can she use the same certificate for her ILR application now? Or will she have to reappear?

Qts 2) She had also got her Life in the UK test passed in 2016. Would it be valid now to use for her ILR application?

Thanks for your time and help. :)

Why would it not be sufficient for citizenship?

People who got ILR after October 2013 will automatically meet the English language requirements of nationality applications :!:

If you say so, then correct :) I said I am not sure if it would suffice, didn't say it wont be
