Hello!
I've read on the GOV UK site (https://www.gov.uk/skilled-worker-visa/extend-your-visa) that if you are extending your Tier 2/Skilled Worker and you are in the same code, then you don't need to update your visa:
"If you’ll be doing a different job for your current employer, you only need to apply to update your visa if your new job is in a different occupation code."
However, it says this when Extending Your Visa:
"Extend your visa
You can usually apply to extend a Skilled Worker visa or a Tier 2 (General) work visa if all of the following are true:
-you have the same job as when you were given your previous permission to enter or stay in the UK
-your job is in the same occupation code as when you were given your previous permission to enter or stay in the UK
-you’re still working for the employer who gave you your current certificate of sponsorship"
Upon starting my application online, it says to enter your job title and that it needs to be the same as what it is on the CoS. Again, my job is within the same occupation code, but the title is slightly different.
My question is - do I keep the same job title on the CoS or change to the new title, even though it's under the same code?
