Hi all,
My Cousin is a British Citizen and her boyfriend is an Indian national.... He came to the UK on a tourist visa on September 20th 2014... after the 6 months expired he stayed over and now he is an overstayer...
they want to get married...she own's a house and is in employment ...
Her bf works too but takes cash in hand.... no payslips, no NHS registration No NI Number, no driving license and no address proof... will she be able to sponsor him on ?
To come to the UK, he showed the Home Office he was married and was coming over for travel with his wife... his visa was granted for 6 months but in actual he is not married and nor does he hold a registered marriage in India as the certificate processed to show the Home Office was fake and created... The Home Office records here show he is a married man...
He has no access to the documents, all that is with the Home Office; the only thing he does hold is his Indian Passport... What is the way forward?
As soon as they arrived in the UK both of them separated ways and did not live or travel together and never met or were in contact... Her whereabouts are unknown...
Is there any hope in this case? and will he be granted leave in the UK to become legal?
On what basis and file can he stay on ?
How long will the process be ?
What exams will he have to take ?
Is a traditional marriage in a few months a good idea or you suggest not ?
Thanks in Advance!
