Extension of Tier 2 Visa for my Family

Post by SukruToprak » Thu Mar 10, 2022 10:06 pm

Hi all,

There are couple of question that i would like to ask about my and my family application.

* MY BRP issue date is 18th April 2019 and Expire date is 14th April 2022. it is 4 day less than 3 years. i now applied my extension for 2 years as per my COS and it is dated 14th April 2022 to 13th April 2024.

Can this 4 days affect my ILR application in April 2024 when i applied to ILR? i believe i can apply my ILR 28days before 18th April 2024 even i got my latest visa end date is 14th April 2024.

Secondly, My family came with me at the same time and i am going to apply 2 years for them also.when i put cos start date , end date and my visa Expire date as below, IHS payment comes up only for £324 which is for 6 months. It is because my current visa end date. My visa application is already being processed but not being granted yet therefore i cannot put my new visa end date which i dont know. Do i need to put my visa end date as cos end date ?

Visa type Skilled Worker (Shortage Occupation) (Dependant) 3 Year
Work start 14 April 2022
Work end 13 April 2024
Work end 14 April 2022

1. The expiry date on your new BRP will be 14 days after the CoS end date.

2. Same as above.
