Zambrano Settled Status EU settlement scheme Paper Application Form - NEW

Just to be explicit for those who might need me to. Applications under Appendix EU which includes Zambrano can no longer vary an application made under another of or outside the Immigration rules. So those who have pending Appendix FM application should expect a decision separately from their EUSS (Zambrano) application. On the bright side, it appears HO has finally come into terms with the fact that both Applications under EEA Reg (Now Appendix EU) can co-exist with other application made under other Immigration rules concurrently. So having a leave under Appendix FM shouldn't deter anyone from having a status under Appendix EU.

When were you refused? Depending on when you were refused you could appeal if still in time or request for a new application form with the hope that the expected changes to the Appendix EU will address the paragraph (b) issue. Also, you can apply to extend your LTR whilst waiting for the outcome of your Zambrano application based on the recent changes to Appendix EU which will be coming in to effect 06th April.

I was refused September 2020 before i got 2 years leave to remain.
i just requested for a paper application form to be sent by email so hopefully expected changes to the Appendix EU in paragraph (b) will be to my favour. i got till first week in May to renew my LTR.

Things are not going too bad, Home Office appears to be relenting in their pursuit of mandatory appeal against allowed Zambrano appeals.

The last 3 appeal decisions I have had was not challenged. Maybe they have decided to ignore the appeal determination, which will be another matter.

It's a good step in the right direction. Although the long wait for an allowed appeal to be implemented is killing. A couple of months now and I am still waiting. Hopefully won't be long before it's all sorted.

Both parents have zambranoo pre settle status. New baby born may 2021. Made her pre settle paper application in September got biomatric letter in jan after making complain to home office. Made another complain as application not concluded it over 6 months now. No reply for complain as its over a month now. Spoke to local mp. And eventually going phso. As i did b4. Needs to plan holiday's very frustrating ho.

Eventually after making complain i got paper COA for my daughter.

Mhhhhhh, maybe that’s why that Immigration Officer at the airport was able to see that the person has Settled Status and will not need to extend in September.

It is nothing new. This information about the BRPs has been published on the UKVI website for over a year already.

I called home office today because no COA (digital or paper) issued.
He goes we have not been updated by UKVAS yet. Once its updated COA will be issued.

My online status check comes back as "details does not to our record".
Applied on 30th of June 2021, did Biometeic 02 March 2022.
Not received COA yet. No email.

I can’t really say much on here but I can’t stress enough how important a COA is at this point. This last quarter, a record number of Zambrano applications were rejected. A COA is the only assurance you have that your application has gone through the necessary checks and deemed valid - The success of your application is 50/50. I was told last week that I do not need one but after knowing the HO is up to one last trick, I gave them a call on Monday and I got both a physical and digital COA same week. My advise is not to rest; get on the phone to them and press for one asap.

Guys please I need help....I received my biometric invitation letter on the on the 10th of March...I have not been able to book an appointment....it says my ID is invalid or doesn't match.....close to 3weeks now ...I called resolution center and the lady said they have issue with the biometric system I should try it in 5days...I did still didn't work ....I called again they said I should in 5days time again.....is anyone experiencing this....but she said they have extended my biometric appointment date until the issue resolved....if anyone got idea please help me....because I don't trust home office a bit

It’s as if HO is very happy keeping peoples documents for no reason. They really know what they are doing in this zambrano thing at all. 1 min they tell u, u don’t need a COA and the next min u get one in the post. It’s so sad

It appears you may be experiencing a technical issue with the biometrics system. However, you are right to be a bit wary of the HO tactics ( we all are!).
- My advice is that you ensure that all dealings with HO regarding this issue are documented (which you can also refer back to if you need to) in order to protect yourself.
- With regards to the biometric extension - pls follow up with emails or letters ensuring you receive confirmation in writing to this effect.

You can say that again Wizzy. The HO really do not know what they are doing.
I also just received the standard cut and paste letter they have sent to everyone regarding Akinsaya ruling. Meanwhile I do not fall within this category. At the time I applied I did not and do not have any leave.
I feel as though they have just decided to dump me in the domestic application/ Akinsanya category just to delay my application unnecessarily. Apparently according to them - 'there is a realistic prospect that such application would succeed or have succeeded'. This is despite a failed domestic application which was also refused appeal at FT & UT). This
Also, they have referred to me as a 'named helper', which really irks me.It appears as though my position as a 'Carer' is being diminished.
I am watching them in 3D!
