EU1 Application Form

Post by ginger4pluck » Tue Oct 07, 2008 11:15 am

Hi people! I think it's a stupid question but anyway

Our landlord is taking too long to send our Rental Contract and PRTB Registration (looks like she is avoiding to do it even though it is obligatory). Can we send my husband application without this documents and amend it later to our application file when we have it? It is just so frustrating to have everything ready here and not being able to send because people are just not sensible about the situation.

Thanks!

well, if they can't give you either ask them to simply write a letter to say you have been living at this address or honestly speaking you dont need that shit as i did not send anything but a letter from my landlord but it is not necessary. if they need it they will send you a docment checklists from inis. i sent my application and they did the same and when i sent them d required one after two months aotogether 3 months i got my approval

Thanks Knapps for the answer! I've been away from the forum for a long time. We sent my husband's EU1 Form last Wednesday. I saw on the internet that they received using the Tracking Code issued for Registered Letters. What raise concerns is that they did not send an acknowledgment or a receipt. How long did it take for you guys to receive this acknowledgment? I know I shouldn't be worried right now but our passports and IDs are all there.

I would also like to know how long does it take to receive the acknowledgement letter?

Hi there! Just to let you know... we posted on Wednesday and we received the acknowledgment 10 days after.

Now... we plan to move from our flat. Does anyone know how should we proceed to let them know about our new address? Or should we stay at the same apartment until receiving their letter?

Cheers!

Yes, they have sent the receipt and all our file, including passports, bills, contracts and so on! When did u send?

By the way... someone has to be at home to pick it up, otherwise you will have to pick it up at your closest Post Office.

We haven't sent them yet, tomorrow we will try to go to GNIB and see what they are saying about my wife's situation.

Does your partner need a visa for Ireland?

All right then. Good luck there at the GNIB.

My husband doesn't need a visa to come to Ireland but he does need one to remain though.

Hi ginger4pluck,

Did your husband need to use the "acknowledgment letter" and if he has, did he get 3 months or 6 months of STAMP4?

He didn't get it yet as he already have it but they stated 6 months on the letter.
