Anonymous wolf, did you get an update on the Garda eVetting before you got the letter? Or it came without them updating the eVetting status?

You don't get an update on the e-vetting,it is only disclosed to ISD to help with making the decision.
I have never had any adverse interaction with the Garda so I was certain that I would get a positive decision

Oh I see. I thought we'd get a copy of the eVetting before and then they would decide on the visa

I think you only get your disclosure when you have to appeal the results of the e-vetting

Ah cool. Yeah, I'll have to go to the post office after work and check if it's the visa or a letter of rejection hahaha can't think of a reason it would be a rejection but you never know hahaha I'll keep you guys posted

I am pretty sure you will get a positive decision...this scheme was primarily put in place for that.
Let us know tomorrow! But am certain you will be fine.

Congratulations!

If any chance you could share the letter and hide your personal info just for the sake of other people in the queue.

It will give them hope and encouragement.

Thanks.

You apply for GNIB by booking appointment via phone if living in Dublin. If outside Dublin, you will have to go to your immigration Garda station.

For registration, the letter specifically says you must register in-person.So if in Dublin...it has to be done in person not online.
As of vetting,I filled out the 1st form, scanned and sent back to ISD.
Then when I received the link I gave all the addresses I have lived more than 6 months since birth.
