Taking holiday prior to FLR M

Post by 777GE90 » Wed Apr 06, 2022 11:00 am

Is there any problems with going on holiday with the 5 year route, currently my wife has leave to enter and will next apply for FLR M.

Also, if we do go on holiday does it take away from the continuous time living in the UK? E.g. if she is here for 2 years and goes on holiday for 1 month, does it mean that she is only seen as living here for 1 year and 11 months or is it still classed as 2 years?

There is no restriction on travelling as a spouse visa holder.

Thanks and does it take away from the number of continuous days lived in the UK? I.e. I don't want the holiday to mean I am a month short for 5 years when applying for ILR

Many thanks, I thought this would be the case but always good to double check with knowledgable people if in doubt.
