Extension under TIER1(currently on HSMP,but date is expiring

Dear all

I am currently on HSMP and working in UK. My HSMP is expiring and i need to put an application for extension under TIER1.
Following are the documents I will be sending with my TIER 1application, could you please check and let me know your comments.

1. Age : 5 points claimed
a)Documents provided: Current valid original passport
b) Notorised passport from UK notary on date of birth page.

2. Qualifications : 30 points claimed
Documents provided:
a) Points-based calculator print out
b) Original degree of graduation
c) Letter from UK NARIC (although i have submitted it earlier during my HSMP application)

Do i provide the above or just tick the option in the form :
Evidence previously provided with the applicant’s
initial HSMP application

3. Previous Earnings : 45 points claimed
Claiming period 1Nov2007 to 31Oct2008
Documents provided:
a) Formal payslips
b) Personal bank statements showing the payments

Earnings per month to be counted is gross or net. please confirm.

4. UK Experience : 5 points claimed
Shall i get a letter from employer confirming my employment for a year and a half for this.

5. English : 10 points claimed
Documents provided:

Letter from Indian university confirming the graduation is in english. which was earlier submitted when I got my HSMP approved two years back.

Do I need to submit this or just tick the option :
Applicant is currently in the United Kingdom as a Tier 1 (General) migrant,
a Tier 1 (Entrepreneur) migrant or as a Highly Skilled Migrant Programme
participant and has previously satisfied the qualification Requirement

6. Maintenance : 10 points claimed
Documents provided:
a) Bank statements provided for ‘Earnings’ earlier
b) statements of my wife.

Please confirm if i can show combine fund(my bank statement & her bank statement) for the maintainenece fund for me, my wife and the son.

I was going to make a post about my case but I thought it may be a good idea to check if someone else has a similar situation.. so it looks like you are in similar situation. And you have asked pretty much the questions I wanted to ask, except that I am only showing my own bank statements as I am single. And I am claiming 20 points for age.
By the way are you making a separate application for your wife and son as dependants? And obviously your bank statements need to show more funds as compared to a single application since you have dependants.

As far as your concerns about whether to tick the box of evidence previously submitted, i can tell you that i did tick the relevant boxes.. but I would still be submitting the same evidence along with the application. Atleast that is what I was told over the fone when I spoke to someone in the Home Office.
So lets see if anyone else has something to say about this or has an experience of a similar case.

i also want to ask how important is it to claim for all these points or as long as it is 75, we should just ignore the rest?
