Hello,
My Parents applied for a visit visa in January but the visa was refused.
They have 2 sons both living in UK one has citizenship and the other one recently get a skilled work visa from a student visa.
Is there any specific time duration when to reapplied for a visit visa.
The visa refused reason as below.
You intend to travel to see your son. You have stated he will help you meet your
costs for this visit by paying for your maintenance and accommodation whilst you are
in the United Kingdom. From the documentation you have submitted, I am satisfied
that he is able to do so. However, whilst I have taken this into account in assessing
your proposed maintenance and accommodation in the UK, this is only one aspect of
the visitor rules. The onus is on you to qualify for entry clearance based on your own
circumstances and intention. The sponsorship does not satisfy me of your own
intention to comply with the Immigration Rules.
In support of your application you have provided a copy of your family registration
certificate, I note that your son who is currently residing in the UK is listed on this
document as is your wife who you intend to travel with is listed on this document.
Whilst I acknowledge that you have another son as you have stated, this document in
isolation does not demonstrate his current whereabouts, personal or financial
circumstances. It is therefore unclear what personal ties you have to your country of
origin that would ensure you leave the UK at the end of your proposed visit.
I am therefore not satisfied that you are genuinely seeking entry as a visitor and that
you intend to leave the UK at the end of your visit. Your application is therefore
refused under paragraph V 4.2 (a) and (c).
Any advice on how should I move forward in this case and is it important to have personal ties to a home country if no family member lives in the home country?
