Apply for family after BC

Post by Perfect2020 » Sat Apr 16, 2022 2:19 am

Hi all

I need guidance about my matter,

I reached in UK as refugee in 2010, after long battle I got my BC in 2020 I left my wife and kids back home (Pakistan) Now I am planing to rejoin them but I am afraid as someone told me home office can rise question about it because they can ask why in last 10 years i haven’t any connection with your family and now you want them here with you . That make me scared to apply maybe they refuse application of my wife and kids.

Please I need help about it

I have no experience of family visas but I think the principle is whether you are able to sponsor family members (including financial requirements) and the family members can be sponsored. Not sure that UKVI will delve into the relationship over time - you'll have to provide documents of course showing that you are actually married and the children are yours - but I'll leave it to others to comment further.
