Applying for FLR (M) - earliest date?

Hi, just a quick question

When is the 28 days calculated for the FLR (M) spouse extension visa form.
Is it from date of arrival into UK or the issue date of initial arrival visa (the one which is valid for approx 30 days before the Biometric card is collected)

Reason being, is that I would like to go on a vacation in Christmas and the visa is set to expire on 13th Dec, I would like to submit as early as possible to get more chances of a new biometric visa card, even if that means getting priority (which is not available at the moment due to Ukraine family visa processing times?)

Spouse visa time counts from entry date to the UK.

Priority is available for applications within the UK. It is suspended for applications from abroad!!

Phew I am applying from within the UK. Thanks as it wasnt clear on what (if not both types) of applications were affected. I would really like to use up my 2 weeks off so I may go for priority at the earliest.
