Passport Validity rule to enter/exit UK

Can you please clarify me on the below.

For an Indian passport holder (with ILR in UK)

• Is there any minimum passport validity (i.e. 6 months) requirement to enter or exit UK?

• Is there any minimum passport validity (i.e. 6 months) requirement to enter or exit India?

I have passport which is due to expire in end of Dec'22 and have a travel to India in July and come back to UK in first week of Sep'22.

Technically, your passport is valid till the day it expires. So travel to India with even one day left on the passport isn't an issue.
Travelling to the UK shouldn't be as well, because you reside here permanently. But, with the Stupid, you can never tell.

Can anyone please clarify me, with the passport which will be expiring in 28-Dec-2022

• if I can start the UK naturalisation application in Sep'22 (this is the plan we are having) and get the complete naturalisation process completed (naturalisation, ceremony, British passport) & also obtain OCI card from India embassy

Your passport is still valid till the last day. Nothing stops you from using it to apply in September!
