Has anyone been turned down after sending in a job offer?

Post by bluecalx » Wed May 18, 2005 5:31 pm

I'm still waiting on my HSMP (September) to be evaluated. I'll probably be getting a job offer in the next few days. Once I get the offer, I'm going to send it in as an urgent request. Has anyone sent in a job offer to the Home Office and still had their HSMP application rejected?

Yes there have been some members on this forum who reported to have been declined after getting job offer.
Here is the thing, the job offer only gets your application on the urgent file thats all, it wont score you any extra points for having a job offer.

If I want to transfer from WP to HSMP, does existing position in the UK qualify as a job offer?

Sorry not at all - why would you think it is given that your continuing in that role is not subject/ dependent on a grant of HSMP. I would love to hear your reasoning.

Can you rephrase please - I have different interpretations of your answer.

Zwer,

What is your interpretation?
Where there is a will there is a way.
