Question about taking documents on VFS Appointment

Hi

I am applying 10 years visitor visa for my parents. I have a question about taking documents with you on VFS appointment. (I have finally obtained Mirpur Appointment for 20th July as there was no appointment available in Lahore until October. ) Previously like in 2019 pre-covid they used to take their documents and bank statements and submitted the photocopies while giving the biometrics. I have noticed they have launched the upload document service. Now if they will upload all documents including my sponsor documents then can they just submit the passport on the day of appointment.

And I am purchasing the courier services as well so they don't have to travel again to collect the documents. Still if there is any walkin service for VFS Lahore then I prefer to pay for that.

Do they need to take passport size pictures with them on the appointment?
Many thanks in advance. I am a bit confused as system has changed a lot since 2019. I am also assuming that they do not need Tuberculosis certificate as they are applying for visitor visa although for 10 years but they can not stay more than 6 months at a time.
