Visa renewal

Post by abirami11 » Tue Jul 05, 2022 11:29 am

Hi,
We are in Tier visa, Our current visa expires by October 15th, as we are planning to renew/extend during September 1st week, My queries are:
1. My child (13year old) is in India now, will she able to give her bio-metric from India? if not then,
2. If we bring her here during September 1week for Bio-metric and send her back within a week, will there be any issues for travelling back to India.
3. If we accompany her to drop off at India, and will there be any issues for us to get back to the country?
4. Should we need to wait till the Visa gets approved at-least through online and are we able to carry the paper and travel and come to the country?

(a) You can't extend a visa while you are outside the UK. You have to be in the UK to extend a visa. If you are outside the UK when your visa expires, you need to apply for a fresh entry clearance (and if an adult, start the immigration journey from zero).

(b) You can't leave the UK while your immigration application is in progress with the Home Office. If you do, the application is automatically considered withdrawn.
