Dependants of ILR (5 year route) applicants

Post by QUANNG » Sun Mar 13, 2022 9:40 am

Hi guys. I would like ask about the 5 years route for dependent visa of ILR. In 2019, I got 3 years dependent visa on my partner (Tier-2). Last year she got ILR visa and I also need to extend my visa this year. I would like to ask can I apply for my ILR after 5 years dependent (included 3 years Tier 2 dependant) or I need to wait 5 years after I got ILR dependant visa. Thanks for your help.

When you switch to FLR M spouse visa, you have to wait another 5 years (2 X 2.5 year FLR M visas) before you can apply for ilr.

You cannot combine tier 2 dependent visa time and FLR M spouse visa time to make up 5 years.

FLR M spouse visa - A signed contract of previous employment

Post by QUANNG » Sat Mar 19, 2022 10:21 pm

Hi guys,

I am applying for FLR M spouse visa. I left my previous job 5 months 19 days ago and I misplaced my signed contract. I contacted my previous employment and they also do not have a copy of it. Is that okay if I apply without a signed contract of my previous employment ( I got P45 and a employment letter from them). I also got all the paper work required for my current job ( I worked here for more than 5 months).

Please give me an advice on this matter.

Thank you so much.

FLR M spouse visa - Joint Bank account Statement

Post by QUANNG » Tue May 31, 2022 12:05 am

Hi there,

I am applying for my FLR M this month and they asked for evidence of living in same address. Me and my wife have a joint account since 2017 but we stop using that from July 2021 so we do not bank statement from July 2021 until now. I would like to ask will Home Office still accept my joint account bank statement as one of the evidence ?

Thank you

Dependants of ILR (5 year route) applicants

Post by QUANNG » Tue May 31, 2022 12:24 am

Hi guys,

I am applying my visa application for FLR (M). They asked us to prove that we are living together. We both have P60 and P45 from our company but it shows the address from my previous house ( We moved our house few months ago). Will they still accept that as one of the evidence for living together? I think they will but just want to make sure.

Thank you.

Yes, as evidence of address on the statement date.

Thanks for your reply, do I need to provide over 2 years for all evidence or just need to show address on them? Because some of my evidence is not enough for 2 years such as house contract (1 year), P60 (1 year). Please help!

In the declaration section, how many form do I need to provide to Home Office? As far as I know, there are 2 forms named family declaration and family consent. Is that correct? Please help! Thanks
