Hello All, I had ILR for almost 10 years and it is time for me to go ahead with the renewal. Please could someone suggest to me the process of ILR Renewal?

Your ILR doesn't expire (it's a status), it's permanent. It's the BRP card (showing status) that expires.

As you have been advised ILR status is permanent and it does NOT expire, only the card does.

Notes:
- All BRP cards ever issued by the UKVI are only valid until the end of 2024. BRPs are being totally phased out in 2024 (possibility replaced by digital proof of status) UKVI so far has not announced the exact plans for post-2024.
- Also note that BRP renewal can take up to 6 months

I have 8 months left for my BRP Card expiry date. Can I apply for renewal immediately or do I need to apply 3 months before expiry?

You can apply anytime. I suggest within 6 months of expiry

2. How long will this process take from application submission till I get the new BRP Card?
3. Do I need to submit my passport and BRP Card at the time of the processing?
4. If I need to submit these documents, how can I make my travel if required?

2. Up to 6 months
3. No physical document is taken from you at all
