Hey!

I have a few questions about bringing my partner to the UK on a fiance visa. Can anyone advise us please?

*Is there a certain timescale between the visa being accepted and booking a flight to the UK?

*Is the financial requirement for me only as a sponsor?

*What sort of evidence of engagement is needed?

*Can you leave the UK and re-enter whilst on a fiance visa?

*Is there a certain timescale between the visa being accepted and booking a flight to the UK?

You should only book flights once the visa is granted. The visa vignette validity, if approved, will be for 6 months from date of decision.

*Is the financial requirement for me only as a sponsor?

Yes, only your income is considered for applications made outside teh UK.

*What sort of evidence of engagement is needed?

Ring receipt, evidence of enquiries with the Council Registry office re process to marry, evidence of wedding reception venue enquiries, evidence of communication with your partner.

*Can you leave the UK and re-enter whilst on a fiance visa?

Yes, as long as the visa is valid.

Hey! Looking for some advice please, my fiance lives in the states and I live in London. We are planning to apply for a fiance visa and have some questions if anyone is able to help please?

*Is there a certain amount of time we need to have been together to apply?
Application costs?
*Timeframes of application?
*How long will he have to get to the UK once the application has been approved?
*How long can he be there for with the fiance visa?
*Can you apply for a spouse visa if you get married on a fiance visa and have been together for just over a year?
*How does it work if you want to combine income and savings?
*Does his income count as part of the application form?
*What sort of evidence is required for the application?
