Need a bit of help please!

I got a notification for my son that they will send the certification by registered, but no tracking number in the email and that envelope should arrive between 7 or 9th of July!

And we didn't got it as of now !

Contacted the AnPOst and they said can help if I don't have a tracking number :(
I've sent an email to the immigration email but no reply as of now!

What I should do next?

Thanks a mill!
I am in same situation. I got email on 1st of july stated that I will get my daughter certificate within 2/3 working days. But still i did not receive it. I contacted citizenship department they said it is computer error it will take several weeks. Since then I am waiting. It is so disappointing..
They said that to me too that it was a computer error. Eejits 😅 Am really not happy.

I received a letter today from justice. They gave an apology for the delay in issuing my son's certificate. They claim they have a high volume of Certs to issue and that my son's will be issued in due course. I paid on June 14th. Fee was processed on June 30th. And nothing since...

Could someone please comment: I paid fee for my child’s naturalisation on 25/6/22, got email reply on 22/7/22 that fee is processed and a certificate will be issued and will take 2-3 days to be delivered by An Post registered post (tracking number N/A).
I have not yet received the certificate.
I sent them an email but as all know there is no reply.
Is this a common theme of delay in issuing the certificate?

Hi Everyone,

I tried but couldn't find this Information on forum.

If anyone has any ideas please share.

I am naturalised Irish Citizen, I have applied for my child now, as normally it can take almost 2 years, in the meantime, I am taking a job in UK for one year, Child is attending school in Ireland and will stay here in Ireland, and I will visit Ireland regularly, but taking a job in UK.

will that affect Child application in anyway?
Do I need to inform Department about my Job in UK?

Thanks

I don’t think your move to UK will affect your child’s application. As you mentioned your child is in Ireland, attending school, most likely has a GP here (sometimes department asks for further letters from school or G). You don’t need to inform the department about your move to UK as you are already have Irish citizenship and here the primary applicant is not you but the child who is residing in Ireland (as per department’s requirement for citizenship application).

Can someone please guide or validate my understanding on the below?

Good news is that yesterday we received a letter stating that my son's (under 16) application has been granted for natiralisation. Below are the documents to be uploaded while making a payment of 200 Euro on Online Forms Portal:
  • Current passport scanned copy of the biometric page
  • Digital version of colour passport sized photograph

Since my son is under 16 and no Irish Travel Document, I suppose there is nothing to post to the department.

Please validate my understanding that I don't have anything to post (other than submitting forms on the Online Portal while making a payment).

Thanks in advance
Hi.
You dont need to send any thing by post.

●upload passport page.
●upload Photo
●Pay fee online.

You will get confirmation of payment processing email in few weeks and then cert after that email in few more weeks.
Thank you so much for your kind reply and sharing information. I will have to get my son's digital photographs, otherwise rest of the steps are ready.

Cheers
Hi again,

Can you please let me know on the application status on Online Forms Portal upon uploading documents, Photogrpah and paying fees?

I have received an automated mail acknowledging the fees paid transaction. Currently the application status is "Submitted(1)". Is this correct?

Can someone please let me know about the status?

Thanks
How do we see the current application status? I submitted on July 1st and only got the 200 euro ack mail same day and nothing else. How long does it take to get the processing mail?
Fees paid application status can be viewed on https://inisonline.jahs.ie/user/login.

In my understanding above site is the only way that we can pay citizenship fees upon receiving citizenship approval post.

My son's citizenship fees paid application status still showing as "Submitted" and not moved further.

Does anyone know how long this process takes?

Thanks

I got this message from them
"Thank you for your email. The email incorrectly stated that you would have the certificate within 2-3 working days. This was an IT error and has been corrected. It will take several weeks from receipt of the above documents to issue a Certificate of Naturalisation if all of the above is in order. Please note, every effort will be made to issue same as soon as possible. Your continuing patience is appreciated.

When did you receive the email regarding fee processing? How much time did it take from that time until you receive your certificate? Thanks and congrats

We applied in Jan 2021 (yes......).

We received the application no a year later or so. They approved it end of June 2022 and paid immediately.

A week ago or so we received an email about the cert being sent in 2-3 working days (they didn't fix the bug in the end).

Approval for two children : June 13th 2022
Payment: June 14th 2022
First child had his fee processed on June 22nd 2022 and his Certificate arrived 5 days later...
The second child had his fees processed on June 30th 2022 and his Certificate arrived on August 17th 2022. One month and half later....
But fees was paid at the same time for both children.
