Forgot to Apply in Time

Hi,

My husband came to the UK from outside of the EU on a fiancee visa which we applied to convert to a spouse visa within the required period of time at the time. I believe we are on the 5 year visa route.

We have only just come to realise when we were about to book our holiday, that although we knew that we would have to reapply to extend the visa, we thought this wasn't till next year! We have missed the date by over 6 months! We have three children together, all born in the UK and are together.

Complete oversight an our part but we are now extremely worried that this is going to cause major issues.

Any advise would be appreciated.

Oh it would cause major issues for sure. You need to consult a very good immigration lawyer.

Your planned holidays, is definitely off the table.
