Need Clarification on Proof of Income

Post by DRKFUTURE » Fri Aug 12, 2022 5:07 pm

My wife will be applying for SPOUSE VISA this month. I am very confused about the "proof of income". The Appendix FM-SE say, for a partner without dependent children if relying only on income from employment, this amounts to a minimum salary of £18,600 annually. But it requires you to show six months of payslip. The catch is she took 40 days of leave from last June 2 to July 10, when she got a partial salary.

I have the following questions:

1-How much does she need to show (in payslip) in this six-month period- 18600(1 year) or 9300(6 months)?

2-Does she have to work FOR ONE FULL YEAR with the same employer before she can apply? or six-month job is enough?

3-She joined a new job last NOV, 2021 and still continuing, she has another side job (one day a week) for a much longer time, and her combined income is more than 9300 over the last six months, under this circumstance, can she apply now (SPOUSE VISA)?

Is inconsistency in monthly income in consideration?

Would u plz have a look at the following income chart (screenshot below)? From Feb,22 to July,22 (over the last six months) the Total income from TWO jobs is 9828 but as u can see the income is not consistent (because the sponsor was in partial paid leave in June-July). Under this circumstance, can he apply for a spouse visa this month or the next? If so, Which income category does it fall into (category A or B)? He has no other income or savings.
