Decision Criteria

Post by bred » Tue Nov 18, 2008 6:33 pm

Person X has at least £2800, or the exchange rate equivalent, in a bank account in her name every day for 3 months before her application. She has an IELTS certificate with a score of 6.5 or greater. She has at least 75 points from the points system.

Is she guaranteed to get the visa or are there other criteria which may factor into the decision?

Thanks.

It is a good 90% of the way there but you still have to go through the entry clearance process. If everything is in order at that point then and only then can you say it is 100%.

it all depends on the proof you provide with your application for all the sections including age, qualifications (its equivalence with UK qualifications), previous earnings (most important of all) and UK experience (if any). the best way to start off is to use the self assessment tool on UK BIA website. Rest all the info you can find in the guidance notes to check whether you have all the proof these people need or not. Do go through the guidance notes very carefully.

KM
