Tier 1 General Apeal - Help

I applied for the Tier 1 General in August (in country application) and got a refusal in November due to lack of maintenance funds. I wrongly thought the £800 balance required was the monthly statement balance and only realised its a daily statement balance. I have other bank statement with bits of cash in each of them which makes the daily balance for the required 3 month period more than £800. I going to appeal to the immigration tribunal and wandered if anyone has been through the process. What are my chances of succeeding. I got all the required points apart from the maintenance funds. Also i partly own a company in UK which has employed 10 people. Do you think this will help my case?
