Hello:
My friend has a job opportunity in a company whose owner is not a British citizen and lives in austrailia. this austrailian owner now wishes to retain my friend in his company and therefore wants to apply for sponsorship licence for his company which is british company (registered in companies house) and taxable to UK HMRC ....
and company has only 3-4 employee. can this austrailian owner obtain sponsorship licence.? or he has to be british to apply for it and present in the UK at the time of applicaiton.

The UK company can apply for a sponsor licence irrespective of the nationality or residence of its owner and directors. The requirements are here:
