Changing address on FLR M application?

Post by ms1993 » Fri Nov 11, 2022 5:50 pm

We’ve submitted my spouse’s FLR M application and due to give fingerprints on Sunday. In between submitting the application and biometrics, we’ve moved into our new mortgaged home. The application address is our old one which I am still the owner of and have access to. It’s however rented.

We have no evidence at the new house as it’s beyond the application period eg expiry was 27/10 and we moved 06/11

Just wondering whether we can leave the address the same and then change after BRP? And if not, I do have a council tax letter for the new address which I can take to change the address at the appointment but I’m worried that the only evidence for the new address we have is our mortgage offer (which we submitted as part of our evidence).

Unsure of the best thing to do here so please advise?

Leave the addres as it is. Relevant evidence to be presented are till the application date which is ghe day you submitted and paid online.

Just wanted to share that my spouse recieved his FLR M approval today, which is great news. I wondered if anyone knew though if we are eligible to claim a refund from the HO for delayed super priority service?

We paid £800 and submitted Biometrics on Sunday 13, a decision would have been due yesterday (15) as per their timescales of submitting biometrics on a non-working day. The decision came through today (16). Is it worth pursuing?

Congratulations on the successful outcome.
It would appear you are. There is no harm in trying for refund.
