BRP expiring and travelling abroad

Hi,

My BRP is expiring at the beginning of June and i want to travel to pakistan at the end of February. Is there any rules for my return to the UK. When is the latest i can return?

I don't think there are any issues with entering the UK whether BRP is valid or expired, HOWEVER if your BRP is expired the carrier is likely to refuse you UK bound boarding. So it may be a good idea to start applying for a replacement now as applications can take up to 6 months, per some postings here.

So just to confirm i can go in end of February and return to the UK in April and there shouldn’t be issue with my return as my BRP dont expire till June?

If your card is valid the carrier will allow you to board.

OP hasn't said what status he/she has. Except I probably missed it in a previous post. Apart from ILR, BRP expiring on other leave means OP has no legal stay in the UK. So apart from Stupid not carrying OP, he/she would be stuck out there.
Applying too early could also make qualifying period shorter by many months.

Of course ILR BRP is an exception in this case.

Im on a 10 year private life route. My 30 month BRP will expire in June. So if i go to Pakistan in February and return in April it should be fine and then i can apply to extend my BRP in May?

That's right on the money! April gives you plenty time to get back and start applying for your extension.
