I received my child citizenship approval today.

1) Do we need to send any documentation by post?

Or

2) i) Paying fees of €200 online ii)uploading photo online iii) Upload scanned copy of Child passport online is enough?

I had submitted citizenship fees online of €200 on 13th Sep 2022 and got confirmation email next day. Since then I'm waiting for certificate. I have sent them couple of email but no reply from their side.

It is almost 2 months now waiting for certificate.

Is it normal ? If not how should I contact them as they are not responding emails.

It is very normal. I paid fees on 2nd November and got fee processing email today 22nd of November. For my other child I had wait 2 and half month for certificate. Service is very slow. So don't worry you will get your certificate soon. Let me know when u receive ur certificate.

in Children application for Naturalisation, there is a section of School period of attendance.

Do we need to mention attendance of each year or just first date of enrolment to today's day ??

Hi i applied for my child in Jan 2022 and got approval this week. It has been a surprise as almost 10 to 11 months process is really quick compared to what it used to be years.. but my wife's application has not been decided yet, I hope she will get it soon in the next ceremony ..

I applied in May 2022, got the docs sent back and an acknowledgment letter and that's it so far. Our application was based on me (dad with EU nationality) becoming Irish earlier in 2022.

I told me solicitor that it's too early to send warning letter but he insisted. Isn't too early considering the fact that it's not up to 24 months?

I have the same situation. I applied for my kid on Nov 2021 (EU passport, 5+ years in Ireland). In a year, in Nov 2022 we received per-approval, 2nd part of the fee was paid, and on the 21st of Nov we received email that application fee was processed, and it may take up to 4 weeks to get a certificate by post.

Now it is over 2 months - no certificate received yet. I've sent them an email a month ago asking how much longer it may take - no response.

Just I question, for the adult application, it is explicitly said:"Applicants will be required to reach a score of 150 points in each of the years proof of residency is required" for all eu/non-eu
But nothing exactly for minors, however in score table there is a column for minors.
So, does it mean the scores should be 150 as well? Or not

In a year, in Nov 2022 we received per-approval, 2nd part of the fee was paid, and on the 21st of Nov we received email that application fee was processed, and it may take up to 4 weeks to get a certificate by post.

Now it is over 2 months - no certificate received yet. I've sent them an email a month ago asking how much longer it may take - no response.

Just wrote the above post yesterday and got the child's certificate today, about 2.5 months waiting after email that application fee has been processed.

Wow this worked out well like magic. Just received a committed letter that they will make decision in 6 weeks, also appeal I shouldn't go for JR.

Every naturalisation application requires to have proof of residence per each year of residence

Every naturalisation application requires to have proof of residence per each year of residence

Thanks for your input but the *period of attendance* and current school is only mentioned on Form 9 for naturalized adult on behalf of minor. So what to write from 01/01/2023 till date?
