Post by Justo » Thu Dec 08, 2022 5:51 pm

Hi, we're collecting documents for my mother visit and I will be supporting her costs. I believe I am clear what documents needed from her, but can somebody comment what from the below is needed/won't harm to have/not neeted at all?
  1. Invitation letter from me to my mum
  2. My British passport
  3. My home country passport - to prove I am her son
  4. My home country birth certificate - to prove I am her son
  5. My employment contract
  6. A letter from my work confirming I am employeed
  7. My Payslips
  8. My current account bank statments - 6month
  9. My AMEX credit card statements - showing credit limit remaining is high
  10. My flat proof of ownership - land registry certificate
  11. My flat latest council tax
Thank you very much

What documents is she submitting from her side?? She needs to prove strong ties to her home country.

Commendable, but at the end of the day, this is not your own money.

From her side my mum will provide
  1. Letter from employer
  2. Bank statement
  3. Marriage certificate (my dad is not travelling but this indicates her ties)
  4. Proof of a flat ownership in home country

  1. Invitation letter from me to my mum It should also detail what you do and designation
  2. My British passport
  3. My home country passport - to prove I am her son Not required. You would have filled your parental information on all applications
  4. My home country birth certificate - to prove I am her son Not required
  5. My employment contract
  6. A letter from my work confirming I am employeed
  7. My Payslips 6 months
  8. My current account bank statments - 6month
  9. My AMEX credit card statements - showing credit limit remaining is high Not required as stated already by CR001
  10. My flat proof of ownership - land registry certificate
  11. My flat latest council tax
Thank you very much
You can also state that you would be sponsoring her either fully or partially.
From her side my mum will provide 1. Letter from employer
2. Bank statement 6 months and payslips 6 months
3. Marriage certificate (my dad is not travelling but this indicates her ties) Not required, but it causes no harm.
4. Proof of a flat ownership in home country
No sin in failing, you just have to try and try again!
