SKILLED WORKER - HEALTH CARE to SKILLED WORKER - DEPENDENTS status

Post by SKJ1984 » Fri Jan 13, 2023 3:46 pm

Hi,

My wife has Health and care worker visa issued by NHS trust. We are dependents and hence did not pay IHS during renewal. The visa expires in 2024

Now my wife wants to shift to non healthcare skilled worker visa and she will have to pay IHS since it is not healthcare role.

Should the dependents continue in the existing visa or should we also must change? The doubt is since we have not paid IHS earlier.

Let me rephrase the question. Should a dependent partner renew the visa when the main visa holder switches jobs. Dependents validity less than main holders validity after renewal or main holder.

from searching the form i understand it is not reuired. But my concern is with the introduction of skilled worker visa - helath care category, there is a concession of IHS excemtption for dependents. Will this be an issue if dependents dont reapply.
